THE SELKIE
"Selkies are creatures found in Scottish folklore, especially in tales form the Orkney and Shetland islands. The legend says that they can transform themselves from seals to humans by shedding their skin. If the pelt is lost the selkie is trapped on land where life becomes suffocating. But if the pelt is retrieved, the selkie will rush to the ocean to return to its former life."
